Down to Business

Hello Dear!

Well after a long break from conventions ( only since February) I'm getting back into go mode! Sewing , cutting, gluing, and crafting to my little hearts extent! I'm really exited about the next two conventions!

Anime St. Louis is my next stop, and I hope to have lots of fun new things to show! I haven't been to this convention before so I'm really looking forward to the experience! I hope we have time to go to the museum...  ^__^

The next is Sakuracon in Seattle! I attended last year and had an amazing time! This city is absolutely beautiful, so expect lots of photos! In addition to this, the sushi is not only fantastic but inexpensive! <3
If you've not been to Seattle, i highly recommend it

I am finishing up several new designs, I can't wait to show you! Expect to start seeing them mid to late April.

Last but not least .. I've been continuing to stoke my burning desire for knowledge! >D I have been taking soap making classes for the past two weeks with my final class tomorrow. It has been amazing, and incredibly enjoyable. I will defiantly continue with this craft in the coming year, and I need testers!!
So if you would like to try some handmade, all natural soaps just let me know ^__~

Monday!!

Today is Monday. The first Day after a very unproductive weekend. I did accomplish a thing or two, but not nearly to the degree I had planned to. I did find a new place I really liked, and am waiting anxiously to hear back from the owner! *crosses fingers*

I have been steadily working on some new designs, and will probably open a poll soon and let you choose which will be made! I really appreciate all of your input and support  thus far. :3

In other news! Soap Making class is tomorrow!!! I'm really excited to learn how to make all natural soaps from scratch! I already made some chocolate espresso, I think it may have just finished curing. mmmmm coffee.

Can't wait til Anime St Louis, and Sakuracon!

Hello Dears!

I just want to see what a wonderful new year this has been, and thank so much for all of your support! You guys are the best, and I am so excited to see you at future conventions!

I apologize for the lack of updates in the shop, and on facebook. I hope to rectify that with this blog, and let you know what has been happening.

SO much has been happening lately! It is a wonderful time, but also so very stressful! So much to do, but I love every minute of it! First and for most I am looking for a new residence.. the place I currently reside, though absolutely wonderful, is just not big enough for me any longer. My bedroom is my sewing room, complete with giant pile of fleece in one corner! It is becoming increasingly difficult to keep everything organized.. I really should buy stock at joAnn's and Hobby Lobby... I have about a month and a half, and have found a few prospects! More on that later..

Following  the new house, I plan to get a puppy. I have been looking forward to the day I could get my own dog for about 10 years now, and feel I am finally ready for the time and monetary commitment. I decided sometime ago that I really want a shiba inu. They are soo adorable, and their size is not inhibitive. I have been researching the both breeders, and rescues for the perfect one. This while helpful, is also just torture! All those cute little puppy faces! I hoping that my cats, General Whiskers and Shinji, will take to the pup quickly. They have been around other dogs in the past so it shouldn't be more than "new baby jealousy"

Last but not least, Sorbet Jungle. I have soo many ideas in the works and I cannot wait to show you! I will be creating like crazy the next month to prepare for Anime STL and Sakura Con. Also plan to see us wandering about at Anime Detour. We do not have a booth there, but we will be having a great time hanging out!
